Young Professional Leadership Experience

We are offering a small group of select young professionals (under age 40) a first-hand look into the inner workings of our Global Board of Directors and committees. This will be a commitment of five months, from October 2022 to February 2023. Participants have the unique opportunity to attend the Board and committee meetings, meet IMA staff and volunteer leaders, contribute ideas, and gain valuable leadership experience.

To participate in the Leadership Experience, a participant must be an IMA professional member in good standing, a CMA or CMA candidate, and have an interest in volunteering with us to build leadership skills. Applications will be reviewed in September 2022.

We will select a small group of young professionals in early September to participate in the October 2022 and February 2023 Volunteer Leadership Committee and Global Board Meetings. Participants will also engage in various activities during that frame. IMA will cover all travel expenses for participants. Those selected must be able to attend both meetings.

Please note: Depending on COVID-19 restrictions, IMA may change the in-person Global Board Meeting in February 2023 to a hybrid meeting experience.
